This website aims to spread the diversity and beauty of Peru’s coast, highlands and Amazon jungle. With a vast population of flora, and extremely rich history, Peru’s intensely different terrains and regions have spread a multitude of plant species. Many species date back to pre-Hispanic eras, showing the work of the Inca civilization and multiple Andean communities. Though a number of species have been re-named and stolen during european expeditions and latin classifications have erased some Indigenous languages, the culture and history continue to stand.
